A world of stories.
Nordic sagas, classical fairy tales, Arabian and Mediterranean folklore, world tales, adventures, and exciting facts for young ears. Curated with care and softly narrated. In Swedish, English and Norwegian, with more languages on the way.
Deep inside a small forest, where the moss was soft as a pillow, there lived a hedgehog named Nils. Every evening, just as the sun went down and the sky turned purple, Nils crept out from his den among the leaves.
Nils had a secret. He loved collecting things that sparkled. Sometimes it was a dewdrop on a spider's web. Sometimes it was a tiny piece of ice gleaming in the moonlight. But the finest thing of all would be to collect a real star.
For thousands of years, children grew up on stories. Norse sagas told by firesides, Arabian nights spun under desert stars, fables from every village grandmother, Greek myths, fairy tales from forests we've forgotten.
Fabeligo brings the world's library back to children.
A carefully curated collection spanning Nordic sagas, Arabian Nights, classical fairy tales, fables, myths, adventures, and exciting facts for curious ears. 125+ stories at launch, with new ones added every week.

Open the app, pick a story, tap play. A warm narrator reads while the illustration changes with the story. Read along on screen, or close your eyes and just listen.
Eight rich categories: Nordic, Classical, Fables, Myths, World, Adventure, Facts, Bedtime. Filter by age (2–5 or 6–9) and mood (cozy, exciting, funny, calm).
Each story has 12–20 illustrated beats. The illustration changes as the narrator reads the matching segment, for read-along, or just to look at while listening.
Tap the download icon and the story works anywhere: flights, summer cabins, the back seat. No connection needed once it's saved.
When you want a quiet ending: set 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. When it ends, a soft Goodnight screen takes over, with no autoplay and no notifications.

No. Fabeligo is an app for any quiet moment of the day. Bedtime stories are one of eight categories (alongside Nordic sagas, classical fairy tales, Arabian and Mediterranean tales, world folklore, fables, myths, adventures and exciting facts). There's a sleep timer for nights when you want a quiet ending, but most stories aren't bedtime stories at all.
The launch library has 125+ stories spanning Nordic sagas (trolls, Vikings, sea-folk), classical fairy tales, Arabian Nights and Mediterranean tales, fables from around the world, myths and legends, true stories from nature and history (the "Facts" category, exciting science and discovery for young ears), adventures, and a bedtime collection. New stories every week.
Yes. Tap the download icon on any story and it works fully offline: flights, summer cabins, road trips, anywhere. Audio and illustrations are bundled together and stored on the device. There's no limit on how many stories you can download, so you can take the whole library with you if you like.
Yes. Tap the heart on any story and it lands in your Favourites shelf, where it's easy to find again. Favourites are pinned and never quietly disappear, even if the wider library changes over time, so a story your child loved at age 3 will still be there to listen to again at 6.
Fabeligo remembers where you left off. Close the app mid-story, hand the phone to a sibling, take a snack break, then come back and tap Continue: the story picks up right where it stopped, illustration and all. No need to scrub through to find the spot.
Fabeligo is available in three languages today: Swedish, English and Norwegian. Every story has both text and narrated audio in all three. More languages are on the way. Every story is rewritten in each language, not auto-translated, so the voice and pacing stay natural.
By architecture, yes. We collect no personal information, require no account, run no advertising, and integrate no analytics SDKs. Subscriptions are handled anonymously through Apple, Google and RevenueCat: no profile of your child exists on our side because none is ever created. There's nothing for us to leak.
We gather stories, fables, myths and legends from all around the world, from Norse sagas told by firesides to Arabian Nights spun under desert stars, Greek myths, West African folk tales, Mediterranean legends and the small everyday tales that travel from grandmother to grandchild. Each one is then edited and rewritten until it reads aloud well. Narration is recorded with a fixed voice cast for each language, so the same voice carries through every story in that language. We don't publish a story until we've listened to the whole thing end-to-end.
Yes on iOS: one annual subscription works across your whole Family Sharing group. On Android, the equivalent is in beta with Google Play; we'll enable it as soon as it's stable.
No. Never. Push notifications to children's apps were reclassified as personal information under the FTC's 2025 COPPA rule update, and we wouldn't want to send them anyway. If you want to hear about new stories, there's an optional parent-email digest behind the parental gate.
Refunds for subscriptions and one-time purchases go through Apple or Google directly, per their own refund policies. Both stores have a built-in refund flow in your purchase history.

Yes. Settings, purchases, and the optional email digest sit behind a parental gate, so a child can browse and listen freely without being able to change settings or spend money. The gate is a simple adult-check, not an account.
Three things: breadth, calm and privacy. Most children's audio apps focus on a single niche; Fabeligo spans Nordic sagas, classical fairy tales, Arabian Nights, world folklore, fables, myths, adventures and true facts, with 125+ stories and new ones weekly. There are no ads, no accounts, no tracking and no engagement tricks, which makes it a safe pick for families comparing the best ad-free story and audiobook apps for children aged 2–9. And every story is illustrated, narrated and works fully offline.
The library is waiting: Norse sagas, Arabian Nights, fables, adventures, true tales from the deep sea. Download Fabeligo and find one you both love.
